80s New Wave and Synth-pop Mix!

Nostalgia for the music of the 1980s. If you enjoy 80s music or synth-pop, this post is for you.

Hi Everyone,

So, it’s Saturday. I thought I’d go nostalgic and just put on some 80s tunes and 80s New Wave tunes. More specifically, English synth-pop/new wave! Sometimes, at home, we just listen to music. We let the kids get exposed to all different types. And we get very dizzy in the process. My son’s idea of dancing, as is my daughter, is to move his hands in the air, point and turn in circles. He does manage to do this at the beat of the music. But, for me, it’s all about the 80s. Not to say that there are not other great pieces of music out there. Which, in fact, there are. To go on a tangent, my daughter loves mozzarella.  She’s just like daddy! Anyway, my wife knows I bleed this stuff. If you are out there, and you are like me, shout it out! Give me a like! I promise I’ll make it worth your while.

Frankly, there are so many things going on in the world. Sometimes it’s just nice to take a step back and reflect the things we have done. Let’s see nothing about: recording tapes, tariffs,  general mayhem, the ups and downs of the markets. You know, if you like you can grab a cup or glass of whatever you like, gather your kids if you can manage, and listen to some of these pieces! Finally, I think, that in another life, I must have been British. Most of the music I enjoy is by British bands. Suffice it to say that I have both British and Irish in me – among other things.  Shout out to Stephen T! All right! Without further adieu…the music! Enjoy!

FYI (Disclaimer) this is not intended to disenfranchise the copyrights of anyone. In fact, I encourage all to buy this music!!

OK. Enjoy!

Thank you! Any time!! I am so glad to have your comments! This music is truly some of the best music (at least to me). I’d be curious to know which ones you liked the most. I’m very fond of Rick Astley. But these are all good. And actually, the list is considerably longer than this…but these samples are pretty cool. I left out Madonna…and many more.
